The Easiest Christmas Card Ever

Hello there, it’s time for another one of my belated Crafty Elves Countdown To Christmas card details. This one is one of the easiest Christmas cards you could ever make.

Have you ever gone to the craft store after Christmas and got a sweet score on some beautiful paper packs? But then went go through the paper packs and there’s paper in there that really isn’t meant for what we do as cardmakers? Well, the paper pack I got had pre-done card fronts size to fit perfectly on an a2 card front. All you had to do was cut them out and glue them down.

Well, that’s exactly what I decided to do, and my hubby said it was cheating, LOL. The part that I chose was pretty, with a lovely foil and all. To add a handmade touch I tied some bakers twine across the top and added a few pieces of sequins.

This is the perfect kind of card that you can still say you handmade, {you cut and glued the paper and embellished it (that makes it technically handmade, lol} and give to somebody that you really want to let them know you’re thinking about them but you know they could really care less whether or not  a card was handmade; they’re going to throw the card in the trash anyways.

Well, that’s it for today, I hope I inspired you to dig through your stuff and use some of the paper you thought was a lost cause to make a “handmade” greeting.
