All week long we have been hoping along with Angie Blom and her digital designs design design team showing off lots of inspiration for both of our new releases. Today, Friday August 28th, is the last day to hop with us and for a chance to comment and win a gift card from one of our stores. The hop is happening right **HERE**
Here are the projects I created for the hop.
The pattern paper on both cards was actually paper I made using my Gelli Plate. I made the paper forever ago, I didn’t want to use the paper and “ruin” it because it came out so freakin awesome. Well, I have to stop being a craft hoarder! I either need to use it or loose it…. Well, I don’t want to loose it so that leaves me no choice but to use it.
Do you see I used clouds on both cards? I have to thank crafty friend Laura from Made by Moongirl for rubbing off one me, lol.
For my slimline I used the Polka Dot Orchard stamp set {Remember Me}. I am absolutely in love with that vintage traveling girl plus she fits a slimline card perfectly.
For the other card I used Angie Blom Digital Designs stamp set {Sunshine In My Life, Girl}. Isn’t she beautiful? I really enjoyed making the almost all white with a splash of color card.
Before I leave, my slimline card, the scalloped panel that has my colored girl on was done using a die from Trinity Stamps called Scalloped Card Panels and Banners. I absolutely love Trinity Stamps dies and as far as I’m concerned all their slimlines are must have for all crafty stashes. Their prices are great, you get a lot in one die set, they ship fast, plus the owner is the sweetest.
