Good morning everyone, today is another beautiful day, I will probably be outside with the kids for most of it. It’s supposed to rain all weekend and I have to admit I’m a little excited about that. A couple rainy days every now and then means a veg out day for the kids, which in turn means a tiny break for mom (at least this mom hopes so, lol).
Alright, today is the last day for me as Growing In Unity girl. It’s been a fun week, and I like to thank everyone who came by and gave a little crafty love. A quick question, who says We have to make a paper craft project with our colored stamps?
I know for me personally even though I love making cards and tags, sometimes I just don’t want to do it. I could spend hours just stamping and watercoloring. You should see my baskets full of color images, one day I will probably turn them in to something. To be honest because I’m such a last minute person when it comes down to when I really need something done, it is really nice having images ready to go.
For today’s project, I did just that! I did what I love doing and what I find most relaxing, watercoloring stamped images. With so much that has been going on around us in the world today, so many of us cooped up at home with our kids and our husbands or wives, some of us out of work, some of us losing loved ones, and just the fear of the unknown. With all of that, I think we should be doing what we love most, and what we find most relaxing and the most pleasure out of it. If that’s just coloring images with your favorite medium. I say, “do it!” Forget all the stress and headache of having to match papers and match the right embellishments, and trying to glue things down ever so perfectly. Go ahead and color up those images and share them, I wanna see them. I love seeing peoples pretty colored art. I know I will eventually dig through my bin of colored images and turn them all into some kind of paper craft, and you will do the same.
