Watercolored Unity Whale Card

Happy Friday beautiful crafters! Have I told you how much I love Unity Stamps and how they are my absolute favorite stamp company? I love them so much that I refer to myself as a Collector of Unity. Now, I just need to hit the lottery because there are so many lovely Unity stamps that need to be added to my collection.

Today’s cards were created with the Unity stamp {Other Side of Fear} and watercolored using Prima Watercolor Confections.

For the wording I used a couple different stamp sets. I stamped out the word “Swimming” onto some vellum using the Concord & 9th’s Perfectly Penned stamp set and then cut it out using a stitched banner die. I used one of Honey Bee’s build a sentiment stamp sets to stamp “BY JUST TO SAY” and then cut out each word using my Tim Holtz mini snips. I’m sorry, but I don’t remember the exact sentiment set that I used. Now, the word “BY” it’s not in any of the sets that I own so I created it by masking off other words and isolating only the letters I needed.

I decided to make a few of these cards and did the insides a little different. Some said thanks and some said hello. The “hello” stamp is also from Honey Bee Stamps and is sold as a single stamp. The word “Thanks” is from a Jaded Blossom stamp set called “Supersized Thank You”. I like how I have the whale head popping in from one side and the tail going off the other side, as if she was swimming around.

That’s it for today’s card. This weekend is going to be a busy weekend for me. I have a handful of digital image sets I’ve been working on, the plan is to to wrap those up and get them over in the Etsy store before the weekend is over.

Make sure to sign up for my newsletter if you would like special coupon codes and notifications when I post new sets to the store and freebie digi’s to the blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend and Happy Crafting!
