Stamp Simply Poinsettia Card

Hey there, I have another card to share with you all that I made to link up to the Petals For The Pittman’s fundraiser linky party that Polka Dot Orchard is hosting.

I used another new stamp from Stamp Simply called Floral Cluster Winter Poinsettia. Stamp Simply has also donated this stamp set and coordinating die set as a prize for the linky party. Can I get a woot woot for this beautiful prize?

I watercolored this amazing poinsettia floral image using Faber Castell Pitt Artist Brush Pens. These brush pens are the coolest medium I think I have ever used. They are indian ink, most of the colors stay wet long enough to pull the color out with a waterbrush and dries permanent. Cool right?

I love how this image looks cornered on my Tim Holtz Ornate Frame. The frame is actually a Sizzix Bigz die. I cut it in a red cardstock that coordinated well with my script pattern paper. I also used that same red card stock as a card base, which actually tied the card together quite nicely.

I embellished the front with a little washi tape and sequins and finished it up by adding a sentiment banner.

Now, onto the inside of the card. If you are new to following me, this is something I like to do often. It’s nice to have the inside match the card front. Plus when it’s time to mail it out, it’s pretty much ready to go. I kept the inside of this card pretty simple by just stamping the sentiment on a white scalloped stitched die cut and adding a bit of washi tape to embellish it.

Both beautifully scripted sentiments used on this card also from the Stamp Simply Floral Cluster Winter Poinsettia stamp set.

If you haven’t done so make sure to hop over to the Petals For The Pittman’s fundraiser linky party and link up your new floral crafty creations.
