Good morning friends. I have this adorable St. Patrick’s Day card that I created to share with you.
I created this green beauty using my Cricut Explore. The bear was made using the Irish Bears set from Kadoodle Bug Designs. The flowers came from the Kadoodle Bug Designs Feelin Irish set. The picket fence was a free SVG download from Birds Cards; The Great Outdoors. The little patch of grass was an image from design space (Create a Critter cartridge/Grass). I used my cricut to write the sentiment “May the road rise up to meet you” After everything was cut, I chalked all pieces to add texture and depth and used a white gel pen to add detail. Finally, I glued and attached all pieces to the card.
Now, on to the inside of the card. Again it was cut using my cricut explore. I chalked and inked the edges to give an aged look. The font that I used is Baby Steps (handwriting style). I used a black Pilot Precise V5 pen in the pen adaptor and had my Cricut write the sentiment. The sentiment is actually an Old Irish Blessing and it reads as follows.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
