Happy Birthday Girl Robot Card

So, the other day I got asked to join Too Cute By Jessica design team; exciting right? The card I’m sharing with you is the first card I’ve made as one of her design team members.

I used my Cricut Explore to create this adorable card. The sweet robot girl was cut using Too Cute By Jessica (TCBJ) newly released SVG file “All Geared Up“. The pink scalloped border was also cut from a TCBJ SVG, “Borders Set 1“. I inked just about all my pieces using American Crafts pigment ink and disposable lip applicators. I also added a touch of white using a Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen.
I embossed the white card stock using Darice Embossing Essentials Steam Punk embossing folder (1217-54) After I embossed the cardstock I inked over it with a disposable lip applicator using silver American Crafts pigment ink and then I added a touch of black. I cut this precious robot using gray paper but I brushed over her using the silver ink to give her more of a metal look.
I stamped Happy Birthday using Craftin Desert Diva’s Simply Said stamp set.
Now on to how I attached everything. The oval behind the robot and the green tag was attached using Elmer’s Craft Bond Foam Mounting Tape. The striped background and embossed gear cardstock was attached using Elmer’s Craft Bond Permanent Tape Runner. For all the pieces for the sweet robot and gears I used Xyron Sticker Maker.
Last but not least her face was stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps Everyday Character Face Assortment set (PK-490) I also added a touch of white gel pen to her eye to make it look more realistic.
Oh, I almost forgot about her little ears. I glued down two metal flower beads by Cousins Jewelry Basics using 3M Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive. I think it gives her the right girly touch.
Thank’s For Stopping By!
Have a Blessed Day!
