So, I had full intention when starting my blog back up, of going all in and posting a bunch of stuff, but then I had a crazy idea. To make a long story short; I have a friend who sells things at our local college football games and I figured I’d hand paint some Christmas cards with a Georgia Bulldog theme. After a few weeks, late nights, and lots of missed sleep I had about 50 cards done. I was so sure they would sell and boy I was hoping so because there has been some art mediums I’ve been really wanting. Well, not a single card sold but it is okay at least I tried and even though they are not the typical cards I would give I had plenty of Christmas cards to give out this year. Anyways, below are a few of the cards I made, check them out and let me know what you think (that is if I can figure out how to get the comment section to show up).
I know its pretty typical to include a supply list and links to where to buy but I’m running out of time to share these before Christmas, so I’m going to make this quick. I used Prima Watercolor Confections, Peerless Watercolor, Prismacolor pencils, Versafine onyx black ink, Liquitex BASICS acrylic white paint, black Kuretake ballpoint Zig pen, Canson 90lb watercolor paper, Recollections cardstock, Offray red ribbon, Jaded Blossom “Winter Wishes” stamp set, Stampabilities “Merry Christmas Always” stamp, Tim Holtz stamp platform, Xyron sticker maker, ATG tape gun, and Scotch quick dry adhesive. Okey Dokey, I think I got everything.
Well, That’s about all the talking for this post. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Year.
Thanks for stopping in, see you next year!
