Today I have this simple but pretty card to share with you.
Let’s start with the beautiful leaf flourish. It’s the
weekly freebie this week from My Treasured Kutz called Leafy Flourish. I cut it
out with my Cricut Explore using Recollections cardstock. After all the pieces where
cut I inked all the edges using Rubber Stampede dye-based ink and a disposable
lip applicator. I also used the applicator and ink to add a line to the center
of the leaves to give them a realistic look. I then used a stylus tool and a
foam mat to give all my leaves shape. I glued the flourish and leaves to the card using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive.

The brick wall background was created using DCWV brick wall
pattern paper which I embossed used my Sizzix Big Shot and a Darice EmbossingEssentials folder called Brick Wall.
After the paper was cut and embossed I brushed my ink pad over the embossed
parts and edges to add a little texture.

For a final touch I added some metal embellishments to the
card, the fancy corner metal embellishment and the metal sentiment that says
“my wish for you…”
