Hey everyone, hope all is well. This week is my week over at Unity. Yep, I get to do Growing in Unity this year, WOOHOO! The card I’m sharing today was created using a a Unity Kit of the Month stamp.
This floral vase stamp is from the 4/16 Unity kom {Without Fear… Without Limits} which I stamped on Neenah Solar White cardstock in Memento ink and colored with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. To get a smooth look with the pencils I used a blending stump and gamsol to blend the colored pencils. The little white flowers I colored with white gel pen.
I layered my image panel on some die cut digital printed Echo Park paper. I love using neutral color twin to embellish my card fronts. I chose to use brown twine wrapped around the front which looked perfect with my layout and coordinated great with all the distress inked edges of my papers.
The sentiments are actually just stamps from my craft stash. The one on the front I stamped on a strip of vellum. I chose to use vellum because it still shows the image through it. I attached the vellum with some brads and finished up the front with some mini flat back pearls.
I love coordinating my card insides with my card fronts. I did this by cutting some banners out of my scraps of pattern paper used on the front. I also die cut some scallop borders and used them to trim the edges of the white cardstock. I really like the elegant look the scallop borders created.
I will be sharing crafty creations all week and will be choosing 2 people at random from the comments to win 25 random Unity stamps. So, make sure to comment below and come back every day for a chance to win.
