Welcome! My name is Jessica, I am the creator and designer behind Polka Dot Orchard. Here you will not only find things made with my digi stamps but you will also find things made with some of my favorite companies stamps, because at the end of the day I am just crafter who loves to create.

Ever since I can remember I have always loved all things art and wanted to have a job doing something with my art. For the longest time I wanted to open a shop in a historic downtown that sold lots of handmade things and cute trinkets. I wanted to have an apartment above my shop where I would live. I dreamed that I would spend all my time running the shop and crafting. Well, that dream really isn’t possible when you have a family so in the Fall of 2018 I opened my Etsy shop Polka Dot Orchard.

I am a big homebody with an amazingly supportive husband, two very loving daughters, and two beautiful Boxer dogs.

I have been papercrafting since I was about 18. My love for it started when a friend gave me a small box of scrapbook supplies. I scrapbooked for a few years but grew tired of it and then with the birth of the Cricut machine and all the crafting groups on Facebook, I developed a new love. A love for cardmaking which eventually turned into a love of stamps with the introduction of stamping tools. I love all kinds of mediums but watercolor is my favorite. In addition to cardmaking I also enjoy mixed media art, art journaling, and making tags.

Even though I am now designing my own images I absolutely love Unity Stamps and Tim Holtz. As a stamp addict I like stamps from lots of companies but you will see me create a lot with Unity and Tim Holtz.

I also am a huge fan of all things coffee and tea. This non-sleeping mom would never make it though the day without them. You’ll see lots of caffeine related projects here on my blog because I really enjoy crafting along with the amazing Coffee Loving Papercrafters group.

Some other things I enjoy is music and binge-watching TV shows. I actually do a lot of TV watching (listening) when I create. Another thing I enjoy is taking short hikes with my family to see waterfalls. Honestly though, I just enjoy spending time with my family the most.

I have met a lot of great people over the years and have made some great friends, even besties in this wonderful online craft community. I am so grateful for each and every one of them and look forward to the many friendship I will build in the coming years.
