Be Happy Planted Cup Watercolored Card

Hi lovely crafters, this is going to be my last card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.This lovely image is from the {Pretty Darn Amazing} Unity Stamp Kit of the Month. I watercolored it using Prima Watercolor Confections.

I had originally wanted to layer it with matching pattern paper but with all the colors painted in the image it was way too much. So, I decided some embossed white cardstock would be perfect. I used the Darcie embossing folder “Diagonal Stripe Background” and my Sizzix BIGkick to do so. I even added a piece of embossed cardstock under my sentiment panel inside the, because you know I like the inside of my cards to match the front. To add a subtle touch to card I cut my painted panel and inside panel with a stitch rectangle die.

I wanted to keep the wording on the front simple so the build a sentiment sets (not what they are really called) from Honey Bee Stamps was just perfect. The words “BE HAPPY” is from their stamp set called Kindness. I thought the sentiment “your happiness is my happiness” fit perfect with the wording on the front. This sentiment is from Unity’s KOM {Pretty Darn Amazing}.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Crafting!
